Designed for Ages 7-13

At Uplink, we believe that fostering a child’s love of gaming can have positive impacts throughout their lives. We call this concept “Virtuous Gaming”. We use video games to help children build self-esteem and confidence, to teach them sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and more. And we use the opportunity we have with them to talk about getting frustrated (“tilted”) and how to handle stress. We learn about online safety and click bait at their level. And we believe that gaming, like everything in life, is good only in moderation. So we make sure to mix in physical exercise and fun activities to get them out of their chairs and moving around! Last year over 300 children joined our camps. We hope that you will as well!

Each day we will explore 1 of over 30 different learning modules focused on online safety, stress management for kids, digital citizenship, careers and more!

A typical Summer Camp Day at Uplink runs as follows:

9:00-9:30 – AM/All Day Arrival & Free Play
9:30-10:00 – Special Game Project / Activity
10:00-10:30 – Outside Play
10:30-10:45 – Snack Time
10:45-11:15 – Morning Learning Module
11:15-11:45 – Free Play
11:45-12:15 – Group Project
12:15-12:45 – Lunch (& inside exercise games)
12:45 – 1:00 – AM Departure
1:00-1:30 – PM Arrival & Free Play
1:30-2:00 – Special Game Project / Activity
2:00-2:30 – Outside Play
2:30-2:45 – Snack Time
2:45-3:15 – Afternoon Learning Module
3:15-3:45 – Free Play
3:45-4:15 – Group Project
4:15-4:30 – Inside Exercise Games
4:30-5:00 – Free Play & PM/All Day Departures

About the different camps

Choose from AM/PM/ALL DAY Sessions

Roblox Camps include many educational and team-based games that force the kids to work together and think both strategically and tactically. And each week has a special project where the kids spend a little time each day to build or create something special for our end of week show-and-tell!
Minecraft Camps are focused on creativity and building, along with working on dexterity and critical thinking skills. Each week has a special project where kids spend time each day building our themed project to show you at our end of week show-and-tell!
Fortnite Camps explore all different game modes in the metaverse include: Battle Royale, Rocket Racing, Fall Guys and LEGO Fortnite. We will team up for different activities throughout the week as players learn teamwork, sportsmanship and respect!
Video Game Camps explore multiple age-appropriate games including Roblox, Minecraft, Fall Guys, Rocket League and more! Each game will have special events during the week where kids can work together and/or compete in mini tournaments just like our youth esports leagues.

We did both the summer camp and after school clubs here and cannot say enough about how good this is for kids. While we had some initial reservations (more screen time?), Uplink does a fantastic job mixing in other things like outside time, and also teaches the kids all about internet safety which is extremely important these days. Highly recommend.

Very tech knowledgeable, great with kids! The equipment is top of the line, the camps encourage teamwork. A great place for kids to learn and have fun!

We traveled from the Pittsburgh area so that my son could attend a 1 week Fortnite summer camp this past July. He had a blast, and my husband and I were very impressed by the set-up, professionalism, and the programming offered.

My son just finished a week of Roblox camp here and he and his friends loved it! He's already asking to go back. The facility is very nice, the staff are very friendly and helpful and all of the campers learned so much and had a ton of fun! We'll definitely be back!
