Our Mission: Positive Social Impact

We make better gamers and better human beings

Uplink was founded on the idea that video games are a good vehicle for improving the social good. We use the concept of virtuous gaming to help young gamers learn important life skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.  Our Player Code-of-Conduct is just the beginning of what we do.

We focus on sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, leadership and more in each of our programs, whether its an after school club or youth esports league.

We also believe that everything is good only in moderation.  That’s why our After-School Clubs and Summer Camps include plenty of time away from the computer.  We play gaga ball, cornhole, have relay races or play active games inside if the weather isn’t good.

We also focus on learning activities that help prepare kids for a life online, whether that is online safety training or being a good online citizen.  We are proud to have received our STEM-Accredited certification which recognizes our efforts in helping prepare kids for the future.

And we believe that service to others is an important part of being a good world citizen.  That’s why we dedicate a significant amount of time to Extra Life, a program of the Children’s Miracle Network.  Each year we host a charity event that raises money for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Learn more about our Extra Life event here.

We hope that you will become a part of the Uplink family as we grow!
