Uplink’s STEM-Accredited Summer Camps are based on our virtuous gaming model where we use gaming as a way of engaging kids while incorporating exercise, outdoor games, and daily learning activities.
Every day includes a learning module as well. We will spend time together discussing topics like online safety, digital citizenship, careers, and more! We have over 30 learning modules that the kids will get to experience! The goal is to not only make better gamers, but better humans!
Each camp week is different, so the kids never have the same experience twice!
Weather permitting we play GagaBall, Cornhole and other outdoor games to get the kids active and breathing that fresh air! When its too hot or raining, we still get our exercise with BlazePods relay races, time trials and more. Plus Indoor Cornhole and all sorts of other activities!
When we are gaming, we focus on creating new friendships, learning teamwork, sportsmanship, respect and leadership. And we always adhere to our Player Code-of-Conduct!
- Roblox Camps include many educational and team-based games that force the kids to work together and think both strategically and tactically. And each week has a special project where the kids spend a little time each day to build or create something special for our end of week show-and-tell!
- Minecraft Camps are focused on creativity and building, along with working on dexterity and critical thinking skills. Each week has a special project where kids spend time each day building our themed project to show you at our end of week show-and-tell!
- Fortnite Camps explore all different game modes in the metaverse include: Battle Royal, Rocket Racing, Fall Guys and LEGO Fortnite. We will team up for different activities throughout the week as players learn teamwork, sportsmanship and respect!
- Video Game Camps explore multiple age-appropriate games including Roblox, Minecraft, Fall Guys, Rocket League and more! Each game will have special events during the week where kids can work together and/or compete in mini tournaments just like our youth esports leagues.
